As you all know, I am so invested in skincare. Having healthy, radiant skin is the best compliment to any wardrobe or beauty product. When I was introduced to the Neutrogena Light Acne Mask, I have to admit, I was a little nervous. The packaging looks so intimidating and I wasn’t sure what I was getting into. A few weeks ago when I did my extractions during my facial I saw a brochure for light therapy. Neutrogena is a trailblazer because this experience was previously only available at a Dermatologist’s office. The light treats acne and allows skin to heal without using any chemicals. The light targets acne-causing bacteria and reduces the size and redness of breakouts while allowing the skin to heal. Plus, it’s super safe. It’s important to know that the mask is chemical-free, FDA cleared, UVA/UVB-free and is not hot. The mask comes with 30 treatments and then you can purchase an additional Neutrogena® Light Therapy Acne Mask Activator at Walmart each month to continue treatment which will be $14.97 (or $0.50/day).

If I’ve learned anything in this past year of meeting with estheticians and skincare professionals, it’s that prevention is key. They say that keeping your skin clean is the first step that everyone should do, every night. I (try to) never go to bed without cleaning my skin, and the Clean & Clear® makeup wipes are perfect for being able to remove the dirt, oil, and makeup you have accumulated for the day.

Best part? It’s available in the acne section of your local Walmart and you only have to use it for 10 minutes a day. I like to use mine to catch up on my ‘Skimm’ read in the mornings. Product creators recommend using the mask for 30 days so I will try it out for myself and report back in a month with an all new blog post. I can’t wait, check back in to see my results.
